Entrepreneurs and management can often revert into mindless routines which in time can lead to stagnation in a company. Many great companies (think Kodak and Research in Motion) have fallen by the wayside into a vicious circle of perennial decline by not heeding the winds of change.  This is not a situation that you want to find yourself or your company in. 


Here are some quotes that spark my imagination and inspire me to break out of the herd mentality that is so commonplace in business today.  Once I break out, I challenge existing practices, spot new opportunities, and create new value. 

I have deliberately selected quotes from a mix of writers, philosophers, politicians, and inventors - people whose lives would not have ever crossed.  But I'm a firm believer that the greatest inspiration often is found in other disciplines, and the most powerful ideas come out of the blending of thinking from many different sectors.  I hope you enjoy my first instalment of Quotes for Creators:
