I am Associate Director at Hamilton Bradshaw, working closely with celebrity entrepreneur and Dragons' Den judge James Caan.  My work involves meeting entrepreneurs, analyzing their business plans, and leading investments in high growth small to medium sized enterprises.

I chose my degree because I wanted to develop skills in business administration and expand my professional network.  I was attracted to Oxford by the Skoll Scholarship, a program within the MBA that reflected my inner passion to be entrepreneurial and yet still have significant social impact.

The academic rigour at Oxford prepares you well for the professional challenges that lie ahead after graduation

The MBA at Oxford gives you an opportunity to be at a modern business school and yet have access to the knowledge, research, resources, and incredible people that one would only find at Oxford.

My college made my Oxford experience incredibly special and I cherished those magical moments studying in the Christ Church library and chilling in the Graduate Common Room.  The old traditions of Christ Church made my experience at Oxford surreal and left me with life long memories.

My presentation skills have improved notably, and my technical finance skills have been developed. I have also developed a strong professional network that has proven useful at my current workplace.

The academic rigour at Oxford prepares you well for the professional challenges that lie ahead after graduation, and you build a life-long network that few universities can rival.

I met my current employer, James Caan, at an Oxford Entrepreneurs event.  The entrepreneurial ecosystem at Oxford is to thank for me landing my current role, and now I am in the fortunate role of reviewing and screening all the business plans that are pitched to my employer.

My advice would be while at Oxford strike a balance between academic requirements and social/extracurricular activities - there are clubs, societies, college events, and sports. You want to make sure you get the full Oxford experience!
